ROSE ANNE OST - ART ORIGINALS
Calling Colorado home for the past 40 years, Rose Anne was born in Iowa and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She has been interested in art since grade school and has been an avid amateur photographer for decades. Though she took a few art classes in school, she considers herself a mostly self-taught painter and photographer who switches between those creative disciplines easily. A chance meeting in 2007 with a local art instructor introduced her to the world of watercolors, which she finds well-suited to her love of painting animal portraits. In seeking to expand her skills with another water-based medium, she began painting with acrylics in 2018 and found this allowed her to feed her soul for photo-realism. Her work has been on display at The Kreuser and G44 Galleries in Colorado Springs, the Niza Knoll and Littleton Depot Art Galleries in Denver, and the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts in Palmer Lake, CO.
